Breast Suspension

Breast lift surgery is actually a type of breast reduction surgery. The difference is that it involves removing excess skin tissue rather than reducing breast volume and restoring the sagging nipple and tissue to their ideal position. The typical patient who only requests breast lift surgery is one who is actually happy with the size of their breasts but complains about sagging.

Breast lift surgeries are actually surgeries that are performed through incisions similar to breast reduction surgery. Therefore, it should be noted that there will be some scarring after these surgeries.

Breast lift surgeries are performed using three basic types of incisions, depending on the degree of sagging.

According to the severity of sagging;
Made only around the nipple (least sagging)
With an incision extending from around the nipple to the lower breast groove (moderate sagging)
Made through an inverted T-shaped incision (for severe sagging)

Breast lift surgery is a lighter surgery in every sense compared to breast reduction surgery. Therefore, post-operative recovery is much faster. Generally, there is no need to use a drain after surgery. Since self-dissolving suture materials are used during surgery, there is no need to remove the stitches. Our patients can return to work within a maximum of 1 week.
